Demand Flexibility Service
Smart meters – and the data that they provide – are recognised as a fundamental enabler for the UK’s decarbonisation.
As we saw last winter with the launch of National Grid ESO’s Demand Flexibility Service, this data also provides the “fuel” for the future stability and security of our energy system.
However, in order to “unlock” the full value of smart data, the ESO needed the support of (non-supplier) data, flexibility and aggregation experts to enable wider access to the service for a diverse range of providers, organisations, and consumers.
