Utility Week Intelligence also surveyed industry leaders about women’s experience in utilities and the policies companies were enacting to support them.
At Utility Week Intelligence, our own research posed a series of questions relating to utilities’ efforts in attracting and retaining women employees, and the policies they had in place to make women’s experience in the workplace a better one. While the majority of respondents said their organisation supported flexible working, the picture was much more mixed when it came to other types of scheme. Encouragingly, however, the majority of those surveyed were intending to remain in the utilities sector.
