Utility Week Future Leaders Club

Utility Week’s inaugural Future Leader’s Club has been selected for 2024/25. Congratulations to the 20 forward-thinking young professionals selected from across the utilities industry who have demonstrated their passion to learn more about the wider industry, commitment to driving innovation and dedication to playing part in create a net zero, sustainable service for the public.

This annual club provides a voice for the next generation of leaders who are working to deliver a clean, sustainable and future proofed gas, water and electricity industry. More than an award or list, this initiative has a yearlong programme to help shape the direction of Utility Week, provide a diverse insight into the utilities industry and offer exclusive networking opportunities.

Utilities are facing a looming skills shortage alongside mass public disapproval for operations. The current image and reputation of utilities add an additional challenge for gas, power, water and retail companies to attract talent to the industry. Utility Week is on a mission to support the industry and the future leaders driving change.
